Another picks up a hammer and repeatedly hits his chin, leaving a trail of red marks. At first glance, these TikTok videos seem like an alarming form of self-harm, but the young men involved in these unsettling posts market them as quite the opposite. They perversely claim that what they are doing is a form of self-care, called 'bone-smashing,' that makes their bone structure sharper.
